I know I haven’t been on the boards in a while, but I’m back, I think. I would have posted this in the main fetishes topic, but it is locked. *frown* Well, a few of my closest friends know, but none of them are blind, but I thought I’d shoot this out to the whole community of the blind and see what happens. Ladies and gentlemen, I have a fat fetish. I love feeling big bellies and chubby arms, and love rubbing girls’ bellies. A few days ago, I felt my girlfriend’s belly and was raging within for like a minute thinking about what else may lurk beneath her clothing. The problem is, she’s only around 160 or so pounds, and I’d love to experience her getting bigger, but she’s not into that kind of stuff. I myself am exactly 200 pounds, last time I checked, which was a few weeks ago, and don’t mind being a fluffy kitty at all. :) But fatness is only a sexual desire of mine, and if a girl is fat but doesn’t carry on meaningful conversations with me, I wouldn’t think much of her at all. The reason I think my attraction to fat is a fetish is because when I learn that a girl is chubby or whatever, she becomes instantly my object of fantasy. One time though, I was with a girl that, online, was called fat by a lot of guys, but when I finally met her, her belly didn’t even reach her belt. I was, admittedly, rather disappointed. My current girlfriend’s belly doesn’t either, but just feeling the soft fatness of it gives me insight into what it would be like a hundred or so pounds later. On the aspect of porn, the sounds don’t exactly turn me on much, but the stories, oh my gosh the stories! I found a sight called dimensions, I’m not sure how exactly its spelled, but I seem to remember it being spelled differently. One short story I found was of a fat-admiring hypnotist that hypnotized his wife into wanting to get fatter. The story ended with the wife, before sex, wanted food, saying that she’s starving. The stories of that sight aroused me to such an extent that I was softly moaning, which has never happened before. I was, during this summer, with a girl that was around 220 pounds. Her belly was big and round, and was extremely satisfying. Unfortunately, she turned out to be quite mean, and with me being rather depressed at the time, I broke up with her. Now, around five months later, she plans to get married, so I suppose I’m not missing out on too much. Besides, perhaps my current girlfriend can be easily hypnotized... Nah, I’m not sure if I could be that nefarious, but perhaps... :)
I’m not sure when my fat fetish began. In fourth grade, I was in public school. There were quite a few big girls there, and I loved the feel of their arms as I held on to them as we traversed the halls of the school--the admins didn’t bother giving me instructions of mobility during public school--and the bouncing of their bodies as they walked. I’d always pick a big girl to walk with me. The fetish sort of died out during my middle school years, but in around ninth grade there was another fluffy girl that I grew attracted to. Not only was she around 190 pounds, her and I also had many good conversations, although nowadays I hear she’s become gay.
For the longest time, I thought my fat fetish was something close to a sin. I didn’t tell anyone. But one day, I was on a dating site called MeetMe, and posted it and got a few likes. So I called a friend, who is rather chubby herself, and told her. She just laughed and said it was fine. Ever since, I’ve been proud of my fetish, although my family doesn’t know. They discourage me about my weight as it is, and I’m honestly not that fat... Yet. So folks, what do you think?

We hear all the time about guys liking really skinny girls, so this is just the opposite. I can see how the sounds of porn wouldn't help you at all. Lots of guys like heavier girls. In some cultures men won't marry smaller girls, because they feel they'll have problems having kids.
If you like what is called "thick" girls, take your current girlfriend out to eat more.

Nothing wrong with it at all. I know plenty of guys and girls that like thicker. This one chick told me once I would be better off as a big flat blob as it would be a better pillow which I refuse to do lol. I bust my ass in the gym at school and even working out over the holidays and it's a lifestyle that's hard to turn down once you get in to it, plus everyone has their own preferences so I'm not out to try and please everyone. But nothing wrong with liking some meat on the bones.

Funny you mention this. Maybe it's the other way around. I notice more guys are into big(ger) women than women into big(ger) guys (unless big as in muscle of course.) I personally don't care. I mean, I don't "like" big fluffy chicks, but hey if it happens it happens. If their personality, heart, and etc. can make up for it, then hey! Let's go! LOL.

Weird, I was thinking about this earlier. I'm honest to goodness not trying to down you in any way, but how can you be into obesity? My thing is that it's literally a health concern. People have major heart and back troubles, amongst many other things, due to obesity, and 220 pounds at 5 foot 2 or 3 is just so, so unhealthy. Again, I'm not knocking you for what you're into, I'm just wondering how you can overlook the health risks.
.... And seriously, everyone and their mother has a foot fetish on this site, I swear. Well, maybe not, but like ok. My thing is, do what you do, be into whatever you want, but please, don't impose it on everyone else. I'm not saying anyone here has, in any way, so don't worry I'm not actually necessarily talking about any of you, but I will respect your outlandish interests if you respect the fact that, 9 times out of 10, I'm not into them, and do not want to participate. Maiden, really? I don't feel so alone then. Maybe mine isn't even a fetish I don't know. I just like feet, the way they feeling so soft and smooth, rubbing a lady's soft feet as she falls asleep at night, popping her toes for her, you know stuff like that. Painting her toes, (used to do this for my ex who was in a W/C). I don't do any of the foot jobs or anything of that nature. That disgusts me, so maybe it isn't a fetish.

So what defines a fetish over a preference anyway? I mean people with the traditional preferences are just as stuck to those as any fetishist, only because it's traditional and acceptable it is called a preference?

Seriously, did you know that many heavier women don't experience the health problems until they get older? I'd agree that 5 foot or 5.3 and 22 is just to much girl when they are that short, but taller women actually have prefect blood pressure, no diabetics, because the love that breakfast, hyper tenchen, and such.
I'm fit, love fit, but I've seen some healthy big girls, so I guess that depends on how one takes care of themselves.
I wonder if nature give a break to the younger heavy woman, but as she ages she needs to lose itdue to that reason of child birthing?

But did you know a lot of this obesity epidemic is caused by the fact they reduce the numbers all the time? Last I read, if you are 25 pounds overweight, you are clinically obese. I have been 25 pounds overweight, and I ran and lifted heavy objects and did a lot more physical work than any of these little spazzes taking legal methamphetamines and running around in an institutionalized gym like rats on a wheel.
I really hate it when yukk factors get exchanged for science. Yes, there are health risks associated with a lot of different things: being too fat, being the window cleaner for the Space Needle in Seattle (yes I knew a guy who did that as a temp), being an iron worker, and so on. There are health risks associated with being a software developer. Stress-related, sitting on my ass most the day, and so on. I'd love to have a job where I ran around like I used to when running stores.
I have family who are bigger people. And I think most people need to stop calling the eww factor science, get over it and grow up. People are attracted to what they're attracted, so what, run a mile up hill with me after you pop them legal meth diet pills like a pez dispenser.
Not all really skinny people are anorexics and not all bigger people are fat hogs. Leo, in response to your post about fetish versus preference and societal norms, I think I agree, but the difference for me is that I don't know of any of my preferences that would constitute a fetish, per say. I may be mis understanding the definition of a fetish, but I thought they meant the person needed them in order to be attracted to the person, and in order to engage in sex, and that the sex becomes centralized around the fetish - like a fixation, or something. Yeah, there are certain things that I would prefer if I'm going to get intimate, but they aren't fixations, I don't think. Stuff like good hygiene, a good personality, and around my age, I guess would be my preferences, but I don't see how you can make those into fetishes. Probably back to the whole societal norms thing. They aren't considered fetishes because most people in society would agree with me. Even so, though. I prefer someone to be my age if we're going to get intimate, but during the intercourse, I'm not thinking about their age. Likewise, I definitely can't get turned on if their breath smells, but I'm not going to get all hot and bothered at the thought of them brushing their teeth. I don't know if that makes sense, or if I misunderstood your point.

Lol Anthony the feminists of the 1980s blamed those very men for anorexia. I knew guys who felt they were guilty for what these girls ended up suffering, and all because of their attraction, not anything they actually said to anyone.
And you know what? That pseudo-science was proven wrong: Anorexia is a mental condition that is nobody's fault, but it is treatable.

I am technically obese, or was, because I am 5 feet 11, but was up to 200 pounds. I'm 186 now, but will get back there after the holidays lazy.
I have like 5% fat on my body.
Body frames are different, so you have to take in to account the person. Obesity to me is that girl at 5 feet weighing in at 220, but if she were 5.10 6 feet, and was plump, she'd just be a big girl.
Now if she were as I am, 5 11, but muscled, she'd weigh around 180, and that be obese as for the record books gsaying, but actually, she'd be fit as hell.
She'd need to be a stocky gorl with muscle to weigh in a 200, and have no fat on her, and that is possible too. But not likely if she is doing things naturally and not using drugs to get there. Women are lighter then guys, even at the same height when it comes to muscle.

I think a girl with some fat on her looks healthier over a girl with no fat at all. Even really fit girls will have some fat.
But, if a man likes a really fat girl, that is a like, I'd not call it a fetish.

If you state on a dating site you are fit, and workout, you have less hits? When you do get them, you are ask questions, like, "are you really going to expect me to get up at the crack of dawn and workout? I'm telling you now, I'm not that kind of girl."

On the comments between fetishism and preferences. I would say a few things that differentiate them. You may have a preference for long hair, but largely in the context of the girl who has it...if she's longhaired and a complete bitch...You're probably not going to be into them. Whereas if you've a fetish for long hair, she can basically be whatever and as long as you get to have a..um...hair job? I guess, then you're ok with it. For me, I have preferences in girls and I have fetishes, the former I can compromise on if I love her. The latter are just things that are there.
But isn't a fettish a bit more of an obsession? It's easy to see the difference between a preference and a fettish but it's hard to explain. Many turn ons can be considered fettishes I guess. Fettishes don't have to be gross or odd. It more so comes down to how the person acts or what they say that makes it more or less creepy. I really like hands. I like the different textures of hands and the feeling of hands as they touch me. Sometimes if I hear a chick that sounds cute or if someone tells me that a chick is good looking I wonder what her hands are like. But I wouldn't take it to the extreme that some do, where they would want to sit on people's hands or walk up to them and just hold their hands, or anything creepy like that.
